Brown Spots

Brown spots are often seen on the face, chest, hands and legs due to photoaging. These sun induced pigmented lesions are more common in fair skin. Dr. Gupta is a dermatologist with specialist training in assessing and identifying these lesions.

A special condition of excess facial pigmentation in women is called Melasma. It isomer common in skin of colour. Melasma is most often seen on the cheeks, nose, forehead, chin or upper lip. Hormones and sunlight are triggers. Melasma often requires long term management.
